Vanessa Jean is a fractional Chief Impact Officer and brings a practitioner's understanding of how policy, entrepreneurship, and organizational operations intersect to create lasting change for underserved communities.

• As Founder and CEO of V Powered Brands, has spent 7+ years building an enterprise at the intersection of economic development and public policy — translating systems-level thinking into practical strategies that support community economic growth in Greater Boston.

• As a McCormack Graduate School Public Policy Fellow embedded with the Government of Haiti, contributed to policy development and institutional capacity at the national level — bringing an international lens to domestic community development work.

• At the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, managed member services across the region's premier business network — building the cross-sector relationships and economic development fluency that inform her impact design practice.

Vanessa holds a Master of Public Policy in Urban and Community Planning from Tufts University and a Graduate Certificate in Women in Politics and Public Policy from UMass Boston.
